Cheers!! The amazing Julia before she takes another mouth full of lamp oil. Today I created this Look for our fire-breather shooting. The Photographer Jan contacted me to do the styling. At first I wasn't sure what to think of the idea of shooting a girl who spits lamp oil on a torch. I did not want to glide into a gothic type of styling. And what about the fire...isn't it dangerous?!
I think it turned out really nicely. We orientated on Florence from Florence + Machine for her look. I found this sequined dress on Sale at Zara and plundered my jewel case and H&M for Jules head deco. One old coral and some colored feathers I once made for a costume party were also involved.
It was so impressive to see her handle the fire! When she got out her hula hoop with torches on it I barely dared to watch her! The fire was really close to her waist all the time, I thought we'd probably need our fire extinguisher - we brought with us - after all.
PS: And yes, the dress was 100 % Polyester! Thank god it all went well! Thanks to the great team, pics will follow soon!

Finally another post from me to you lovely readers! Past Sunday I spent my afternoon in the park doing the styling for this photo shoot. Here are some "behind the scenes" pics I took with my mobile phone, the actual photos will follow in a couple of days. This was a really spontaneous collaboration but I think the pictures we got turned out really nicely! We had a fun time plucking flowers and draping them on Isabells head so that they made a nice bouquet =)!

Being a bit nostalgic here. Just heard that song and it always reminds me of my first big fashion show. I still love that song Rainbowarriors by CocoRosie. So here are my Rainbowarriors for you.

Bildunterschrift hinzufĂ¼gen

Here are my favorite looks from the Marc Jacobs Resort 2013 collection found at Style.com. It reminds me of ABBA (in a good way), love the patchwork character of the orange/purple dresses and the enormous silhouettes of the flower/chess and dot looks!

An inside look into the Resort 2013 collection by Marc Jacobs. I love, love, love the looks - very courageous, great colors and material combination - they are like materialized joy!

My favorite shoes this summer! I got these flat black leather sandals from my new favorite shoe store Allez les filles. The black straps with the colored glass pearls kept reminding me of sweets and licorice sticks, so I took a picture...

Just found these on the web at fashionising.com. I love the pink shades and the way how the model looks still very esthetic although her head is always kept out of the picture.
Photographed by Renée Rodenkirchen for Lilogi's Upstep Downstep.

I love that song and video! With the cardboard signs and elements it reminds me a lot of Robyns Konichiwa Bitches video. Ben L'Oncle Soul -Petite Soeur- is also the song featured in the present Duplo commercial (at least in Germany). His Website is really nicely made as well, all in that 60th style.

My new Sports friend taking a bath in the sun. Arrived today fresh from Man'O War Cay, Abaco Bahamas. Thanks a lot to all of my family members who made sure this bag had a happy landing in my arms!
If you should go to Bahamas make sure to check out Albury's Sail Shop.

My view on YOUR RAINBOW PANORAMA

Last week I visited my cousin who studies in Aarhus, Denmark. Although the weather was really nice we went to ARoS the Aarhus art museum. I just needed to see Olafur Eliassons "YOUR RAINBOW PANORAMA" permanent piece of art on the rooftop of the museum. It is shaped in the form of a circular walkway 150 meters in extent made of glass in all the colors of the rainbow. From inside the piece you have a great view over the city in a very colorful way. This and the rest of the museum were really worth spending the first free sunny day in weeks inside for.
